My client is a successful multidisciplinary Environmental Consultancy with over 15 years' experience of providing a wide array of specialisms including Hydrogeology, Waste Management, Planning Services, Topographical Surveys, Air/Noise & Odour Surveys, Hydrology, Flood Risk Assessments, Ecology, Geotechnical and Environmental Monitoring.

As an industry leading consultancy with offices in Belfast they can draw from over 30 years of local scientific experience to offer a high quality, client focused consultancy to a diverse range of clients in Ireland and throughout the UK.

They now need to recruit an experienced
Waste Management Consultant to join our team on a full-time permanent basis.

You will enjoy getting your hands dirty as your time will be split between nice offices based in Belfast and out in the field gathering data and evidence.

You will be competent in using Microsoft Office as you will assist with completion of technical and environmental reports, site surveying and field works, dealing with clients and managing projects.

You will have a passion for waste management, be constantly keeping yourself abreast of changes in the industry and modifications to NIEA regulations.

You will be good at multi-tasking, enjoy collaborating in a team and have a real eye for detail.

Key Criteria:

Educated to MSc Level in a relevant discipline such as Environmental Science / Engineering, Civil Engineering.
23 years consultancy experience an advantage.
Must have a genuine interest in the waste management industry.
Must be able to demonstrate good customer service / management skills and teamwork abilities.

Starting salary of £25,000 - £35,000 on offer dependant on experience. (Higher salary also available for exceptional expertise). Hours of work Monday to Friday 9.00am to 5.30pm, excellent benefits package. Smart offices are based near Dargan, free parking.
