Management Accountant | Education | West Midlands | £40,000 - £49,000
Macildowie are currently looking for a Management Accountant for an interesting and unique Multi Academy Trust based in Birmingham. It offers fantastic environment and work life balance. It is a great time to join the team with exciting plans for expansionin the coming years. Previous experience working in the education sector is
not required.

The role is paying a £40,000 - £49,000 p/a plus 20% pension contribution. It and is reporting into the Director of Finance. You will get the flexibility to work from home 1/2 times a week.


The Role

  • Build and maintain relationships with budget holders and the leadership team allowing them to effectively and efficiently manage their expenditure through effective budgeting and forecasting.
  • Producing monthly management accounts for the 5 individual schools and liaising with the schools to produce variance reporting against budget.
  • Assist in the development of the budgets formation, collation and interrogation.

Minimum Requirements:


  • Experience leading or supporting with management accounting activities
  • Supporting or leading on budgets and forecasts.
  • Hands on individual comfortable working with nonfinancial stakeholders
