Description

• To ensure standards are maintained in line with the quality management system across the site.
• Coordinate with all departments, customers and suppliers on a technical level to ensure compliance.
• To provide support to the Technical manager for site visits and audits

• Observe all conditions in Employees Health and Safety handbook.
• Ensure all agreed food hygiene and safety standards are adhered to.
• Supplier review, including complaints, questionnaires, and specifications.
• HACCP team member
• Customer complaint handling, trend analysis and root cause analysis.
• Customer specification creation in Zeina and customer formats, artwork checks for retail products.
• Carry out hygiene and systems audits, assign corrective actions and verify.
• Check production, quality and warehouse paperwork for accuracy.
• Assist with tasks relevant to maintaining good food safety culture; BRC and customer standards including document control, staff training and continuous improvement.
• Assist with 3rd party audits and customer visits.
• Provide cover for QC lab testing in busy periods or staff holidays.
• Undertake any reasonable request by management.

• Knowledge of HACCP
• Good computer skills, use of MS office, knowledge of Tesco/Morrisons software would be advantageous.
• Good interpersonal skills communicating with all levels and departments of the business.
• Knowledge of BRC, Tesco and Morrisons retail standards

• Ability to work within a team and on own initiative.
• Ability to work to tight timescales.
• Ability to communicate at all levels within the company.
• Willingness to undertake any training required to fulfil job profile.

• Training on Zeina policies and procedures plus specific customer requirements will be communicated to staff and must be adhered to.
• All incidents of which pose a risk to health & safety or product safety, quality or legality must be reported to a manager immediately.
