We're recruiting for a Group Communications Manager to join our Swindon-based clients.

Offering up to £50,000 pa, you'll have the rewarding opportunity to lead the communications team based at the company's head of office and take ownership of our client'sinternal and external communications with a hands-on approach.


As Group Communications Manager your responsibilities will include:

  • Managing and maintaining the company's brand, reputation and image, whilst identifying opportunities to enhance these areas
  • Successfully managing the company's public relations and communication strategy
  • Strengthening the awareness and understanding of our client's activities and operations
  • Highlighting the support the company provides to local communities
  • Actively promoting, supporting and helping coordinate the delivery of stakeholder engagement activities
We would love to hear from you, if you have the following:

  • Minimum of 5 years experience in a PR or Communications role
  • Hold a degree in a relevant area (such as English, Communications, PR or Journalism)
  • Have excellent writing and editing skills for both print and online media, with the ability to write engaging and compelling copy for a variety of audiences
  • Have proven experience working collaboratively and consulting with internal and external stakeholders of all levels
  • Have demonstratable experience of building and enhancing reputation through public relations activities, including experience managing responses to 'crisis' situations and 'press threats'
  • Experience in managing a small team
  • Have a positive cando approach

The role


As Group Communications Manager, you'll have the opportunity to manage a small team and take ownership of both internal and external communications for the company.

Reporting to the Company Secretary, you will lead the delivery of and be responsible forthe successful publication of corporate literature and digital and social media content.


With a requirement to ensure high quality and timely communications, this highly varied role will see you supporting the with delivery of large strategic projects, through to day-to-day proactive business requirements.


There may be occasional travel required to visit the site offices across Wiltshire, therefore a driving licence and your own vehicle are required for this role.
