Warehouse Operative - Birkenhead
We currently have a vacancy for a Warehouse Operative at our Birkenhead site. You will be required to work autonomously & as part of a small tea, supporting the Operations function.

Carrying out warehouse duties, vehicle loading / unloading & handling live loads/bulk liquids. The role will require an enthusiastic approach, always working in a professional and safe manner. Working hours are 8am-5pm Mon - Fri, but some weekend & evening working may be required.


Responsibilities

  • Receiving packed deliveries.
  • To carry out order picking in a safe manner.
  • Ensure products are packed suitable for transportation.
  • Loading / unloading vehicles
  • Ensure the accurate stock control of all materials.
  • Carry out forklift truck activities around the warehouse & yard area.
  • Assist with monthly stock counts.
  • Occasional overtime available when required.
  • Prepare vehicle loads in line with daily demand.

Skills & Experience

  • Valid counterbalance FLT licence
  • Experience of stock management processes & systems (WMS)
  • Previous experience in a commercial or distribution environment

Job Types:

Salary:
£10.42 per hour

Experience:


  • Warehouse experience: 2 years (preferred)
