We are a Chartered Accountancy practice looking for a professionally qualified person (at least AAT Level 4) with minimum 3 years' experience in an accountancy firm particularly in the preparation of accounts for Limited Companies, sole traders and partnerships to cover maternity leave for a year.
You must have a good working knowledge of Sage 50 Accounts, Sage Payroll, Excel, Word and Outlook. Knowledge of Xero, QuickBooks and Sage Business cloud is a key requirement.The work will include:
completion of accounts for limited companies, sole traders and partnerships; statutory filings at Companies House; completion of personal and corporate tax returns; bookkeeping including preparing and filing VAT returns and the set-up of records for clients on bookkeeping software; processing payrolls (including preparing and filing monthly CIS returns and CIS monthly offsets).
We are looking for someone with good communication skills, written and verbal, who is self-motivated, efficient and able to maintain standards when working under pressure for deadlines.
You will need the ability to work co-operatively with other staff as part of a team under management control and focus on client care and service.
You should have a willingness to update professional skills and knowledge and have a reliable, responsible attitude to work.Job Type:
