As a member of this college, you will be providing support to a diverse range of individuals with SEND.

  • Up to £28 per hour
  • Access a range of FE exclusive benefits
  • Temporary role for 68 weeks, with the opportunity for this to be extended
  • Parttime position (2 days per week
  • Monday and Tuesday)
  • Immediate start once compliance is completed
  • In this SEND Tutor role, you will be empowering individuals to unlock their potential, both academic and personal
  • Supporting students to work toward there EHCP outcomes and assist SEND learners to complete gateway qualification and accreditation
  • Delivering employability lessons to SEND learners at entry level
  • Support learners enrichment opportunities in the community to make a real difference to individuals' lives

A bit about you

  • Teaching qualification, or willingness to work towards one (e.g. PGCE, DTLLS)
  • Experience of working with SEND learners in a special education setting
  • Relevant degree/qualification
  • A willingness to undergo relevant training, with the ability to work with a range of learners
