Job Summary:
Start time 11:00am - 11:30am Finish time 20:00 - 22:00pm Monday to Friday

Duties:

Supervise and coordinate the activities of staff members to ensure efficient operations
Train and mentor new employees to ensure they meet company standards
Monitor employee performance and provide feedback and coaching as needed
Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations
Manage inbound and outbound trunking
Handle customer inquiries, complaints, and resolve any issues that may arise
Collaborate with management to develop and implement strategies for improving productivity and customer satisfaction
Maintain a clean and organised work environment

Qualifications:

Previous experience in a logistics supervisory role within the industry
Strong knowledge of transport and pallet networking, groupage and haulage
Excellent leadership and communication skills to deal with evening yard team and night drivers.
Ability to multitask and prioritise tasks effectively
Attention to detail and strong problemsolving abilities
Flexibility to work evenings without the need to "rush off" our evening team finish between 20:00 22:00pm daily. Finish time depends on volume on the day and performance of our operation.
