As part of a strong growth strategy, we are looking to introduce a customer service assistant to generate and manage new business in the South Wales area, this represents an excellent opportunity for a customer focussed and sales driven person to make a real difference to our customers lives and Days Mobility & A1 Hygiene's continued success.


The role - Customer Service Assistant.


Primarily you will be advising customers on products, their features and uses both in our Swansea based showrooms and over the telephone.


you will be contacting other businesses and professionals that we can build strong future relationships with, offering them the highest level of customer services and quality products at affordable and competitive prices.


You will be able to demonstrate our range of mobility products, nursing home supplies, carrying out an evaluation of a customer's requirements as part of a consultative sales process.

Full training will be given.


We are looking for people with a warm and friendly personality who can have empathy and have patience with our elderly customer base.

You will also need good communication skills, confidence, a positive attitude and a willingness to learn about product features and how to assess a customer's needs.


Your background:


We are seeking driven individuals with excellent communication, presentation and negotiation skills coupled with a good technical understanding of our products.

A first-class attention to detail is a prerequisite for the role.

Key personal skills include self-motivation, the ability to work as part of a team and build and maintain strong business relationships.


Our successful Sales Representative/Assistant:


  • Have previous experience in the Mobility market or Healthcare sector, this is desirable but not essential.
  • Have the ability to understand the customer's needs and to present in a consultative manner.
  • Be considerate and empathetic when selling to less mobile and disabled customers.
  • Have a desire to exceed customer expectations and to always do the right thing is a must.
  • Enthusiasm to drive our business forward and personally succeed.
  • A real passion for service and customers.
  • A fun and positive attitude.
  • Strong desire and belief to be the best in all aspects of your role.
  • Highly motivated.

Duties will include but not limited to:

  • Advising customers on products, their features and uses.
  • Demonstrating the use of products safely and competently.
  • Processing customer purchases using SAGE and cash handling.
  • Assisting with customer enquiries on the telephone.
  • Assisting with merchandising of stock items received, labelling of stock and shelf replenishment.
  • Maintaining a clean and tidy showroom, storeroom and staff area at all times.
  • Good computer knowledge is essential as you will be required to update our websites and keep social media updated and fresh.
  • Full clean driving licence will be essential to the role.

Monday to Friday 9am to 5pm with alternative Saturdays 9am to 1pm


Job Types:

Pay:
From £11.44 per hour

Expected hours: 40 per week
