Chubb has an opportunity for an experienced and qualified,
self-employed, Fire Risk Assessors to sub-contract to our team, to enable us to continue to fulfil the needs of our ever-growing customer base


Job Description:


  • The main focus of this role is to provide high quality fire risk assessments to our customers.
  • Provide market leading, comprehensive and innovative fire safety advice.
  • Covering the North East of UK.

Qualifications:

Must have previous experience of completing Fire Risk Assessments.

  • National Certificate in Fire Safety and Risk Management or an International Certificate in Fire Safety and Risk Management
  • Knowledge of current relevant fire legislation and building regulations as a minimum.
  • Good written communications skills for report writing
  • Technical knowledge of fire safety and building materials
  • Commercial focus with an ability to understand a client's risks and drivers
  • IT skills including Microsoft Office, particularly Word, Outlook and Excel
  • An ability to prioritise your workload to meet agreed deadlines
  • Excellent organisational skills
  • An ability to work independently, using your own initiative
  • Technical understanding in areas such as fire dynamics, heat transfer and smoke behaviour principles in enclosed environments.
  • Full UK driving licence is required
