Job Title Recruitment Resourcer, Temporary for 6 months
Hours 18.5
Salary £22,000 - £24,000 per annum (pro rata) DOE
About Us
We are passionate about supporting unpaid carers, the people who assist family members or friends with personal care, medical or healthcare, daily tasks or to stay safe.
As a collective, we change unpaid carers lives by delivering a wide range of services, including respite (giving carers a break); care in the home; and information, advice, and support services across South Wales - an area which accounts for nearly 50% of the total number of unpaid carers in Wales.
Our key goals are that young and adult unpaid carers can help and get help for someone with care and/or support needs in a way that maximises that person's independence and dignity; that carers look after their own physical and emotional wellbeing; can manage financially and have the time and energy to enjoy their life and achieve things that are important to that.
Purpose of Role
You will be sourcing caring individuals from the local communities to support people to live independently in their own homes.
You will need to understand the care sector recruitment market to be creative and innovative in promoting the Care Collective to drive our forward our recruitment needs.
Key Responsibilities and Duties
- Work with local managers to understand staffing needs and meet recruitment requirements.
- Creating job postings and advertising vacancies on different job platforms.
- Telephone and Team's screening calls
- Attending recruitment events and fairs
- Ensuring compliance with regulations by conducting vetting processes such as DBS checks, reference checks, and employment verification.
What You Will Need
- We are looking for someone with excellent communication skills, as you'll be dealing with people regularly.
- Confident to go into the community, talk to strangers and promote our jobs.
- 2+ years of recruitment experience.
- Knowledge of regulations & compliance when recruiting in the Care Sector
- Able to influence people over the phone (including cold calling)
- Strong administration skills are essential due to the high level of paperwork involved in the vetting process.
- Competent in Microsoft packages like Word, Excel, and Teams is necessary.
- A valid driving license and access to a vehicle, as you'll be required to attend various recruitment events.

Education
Minimum 4 GCSE's or Equivalent. (E)
Skills & Abilities
Excellent verbal, written skills. (E)

Other Requirements
Willing to be flexible with their hours of work and willing to work outside of normal office hours when required.
