Do you have previous experience in Transport or Logistics?

Our client, a reputable and thriving business in Crawley is looking for a Deputy Operations Manager to join their busy team.

This hands-on role on role will see you being responsible for overseeing the transport and logistics side of the business whilst providing support to the Head of Operations.

This is a critical role within the team, helping to pull everything together andensuring that the best possible service is delivered to customers.

Main responsibilities:

Planning and controlling daily activity to ensure all customer deliveries and collections are met
Managing a small transport team
Ensuring all operational staff are compliant with all Health and Safety rules and guidelines
Managing ever changing logístical demands
Ensuring all vehicles are maintained to a high standard and receive service and MOTs on time
Monitoring drivers' hours and maintaining uptodate records of driving licences, driver qualifications and any motoring offences incurred by the team
