We are currently looking for a Quality Inspector.


Based in Banbury, Oxfordshire, Brick Kiln Composites is a leading manufacturer of composite components for various Formula One teams, high-end automotive designers and innovative industry disrupters.

  • Have a proven competence of quality inspection.

  • Possess strong communication skills and be able to provide constructive feedback to maintain the highest standards of quality.

Your responsibilities will include:

  • Performing finished assembly visual inspection as per drawing specification.
  • Raising feedback regarding quality concerns and proactively participate in the root cause investigations. Ensure implementation of corrective actions to prevent issues form reoccurring.
  • Raising feedback with Laminating, Trimming and the Production Office to ensure the instructions in drawings, build manuals and check sheets are correct, clear and concise and allow for the manufacture of highquality parts.
  • Ensuring all processes carried out in the department are completed as specified on drawings or other technical guidance.
  • Support with the improvement of the technical guidance and the generation of check sheets.
  • Recording of all inspection data and part traceability.
  • Continuously promote efficiency ideas across the company to reduce issues regarding quality.
  • Ensure key equipment is well looked after and any issues are bought to the attention of the Quality Manager.
You will also, on occasion, be expected to meet tight deadlines without compromising on quality. This may require flexibility in your working hours. Overtime is paid at 1.5x your hourly pay, with 2x on applicable Sundays and Public Holidays.


Experience and Qualifications:

  • Experience in the motorsport or manufacturing industry would be desirable, but is not essential. Likewise this role would be an excellent match for someone studying or having just completed a course in relation to Motorsport Engineering or similar.

£25,000.00-£32,000.00 per year
