Here at Ronford-Baker Engineering we are looking for a Bookkeeper to join our team based in Kings Langley near Watford on a part-time basis.

We are a well-established and high-quality manufacturer of tripods and fluid heads for television and film cameras.

We have a global reputation built over the last 50 years for some old-fashioned (and increasingly rare) manufacturing qualities, such as extremelyhigh product quality, longevity, and robustness.

Ronford-Baker Engineering products are recognised as the highest quality platforms available for both studio and location shooting.

We were formed in 1966 as a collaboration between Ron Ford, who ran a camerarental business and Harry Baker, a talented engineer.

Great pride is taken in the quality of manufacturing:
no subcontract work is done, and products are not made for anyone else. Many products are still in daily use in studios worldwide after 50 years.

As a Bookkeeper at Ronford Baker, your responsibilities will include:

• Invoicing, Credit Control
• Bank reconciliations
• Processing monthly management Accounts
• Managing invoices and tax payment
• Managing HMRC reporting obligations
• Preparing tax returns
• Assisting with payroll
• Governance and corporate responsibilities
• Undertaking any additional responsibilities as directed by the line manager commensurate with the level and grading for the role
• Adhering to our policies, rules and procedures including, Health and Safety, Equal Opportunities, all other legislative responsibilities, governance, financial and procedural rules.

We are looking for a Bookkeeper who has the following skills and experiences:

• Attention to detail
• Enhanced numerical and quantitative skills
• Advanced analytical and problem solving

• Time management and organisation
• Excellent communication skills

A degree in accounting or accounting and finance with some previous experience in the role is beneficial but not essential, as is SAGE Bookkeeping experience.
