Job Purpose This is a new role providing an opportunity for someone with strong digital marketing skills and experience the opportunity to work with and manage a successful digital marketing team.

You will lead the digital team, supporting the Head of Digital Marketing,to providing first line business support on all digital marketing related initiatives.

You will be the key driver in ensuring day-to-day activity and proactive digital marketing activity takes place with key responsibilities revolving around the creationof process, delivering of campaigns and managing a team.


Role & Responsibilities:


  • Managing the Operations of the digital marketing team, ensuring digital channel optimisation (e.g., SEO) and reporting (ROI, ROAS).
  • Managing Social media activity
    with involvement in social media strategy, innovation, and direction, owning; reporting, planning, and management. Including tool management, training.
  • Managing paid advertising, including agency management, involvement in process, campaign management and reporting. Including reporting structure, budget management and ongoing ROAS reporting
  • Over seeing Website marketing involvement in strategy, innovation, and direction, owning; reporting, planning and management. K
  • Be a Digital marketing Internal comms lead overseeing the management of internal communication channels for the digital team.
  • Leading campaign management for business areas usingdigital channels requiring support, e.g., people and culture
  • Ongoing involvement in budget management with Head of Digital Marketing
  • Daytoday engagement with all digital platforms, working to support marketing campaigns, including supplier management
  • Ensuring they keep up to date with latest trends
  • Managing the digital marketing team, supporting team development

Skills, Knowledge and Experience:


  • B2B marketing knowledge (B2C desired, but not essential)
  • Experience of working to strategy, including development roadmaps technical and nontechnical.
  • Experience of website management/development and SEO to ensure client first (user first) thinking to web structure
  • Experience of creating and planning content for digital channels, including social media campaign assets.
  • Data lead approach, with strong analytical skills, including experience of reporting across digital platforms, including ROI & ROAS reporting using tools such as GA, Google ads etc.
  • Liaising with stakeholders at all levels to move forward marketing campaigns across digital channels making recommendations on digital marketing best practice at all stages
  • Strong presentation skills and confident to deliver presentation and training to all levels.
  • To 'think outside of the box' and bring proactive and innovative ideas to all conversations
  • Budget knowledge and management
  • Ownership of BAU operations of the team
  • Ability to work to tight deadlines on multiple pieces of work concurrently
  • Excellent organisational skills
  • Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal
  • Ability to communicate with senior stakeholders
  • CIM qualification (desired)
