An exciting opportunity for a Band 7 Highly Specialist Speech and Language Therapist to join Sheffield Teaching Hospitals as part of the Speech & Language Therapy Team on the regional hyper acute stroke unit.
- acute Stroke Unit at Royal Hallamshire Hospital
The successful post holder will provide clinical Speech & Language Therapy to a defined specialised caseload as part of the SLT stroke team.
The SLT service across both the acute and community teams in STH has approximately 55 staff (47 therapists, 7 assistants and 4 secretarial staff wte).
The SLT teams are highly motivated to provide a quality service to their patients, they are research active and embrace innovation.
Applicants must have:
Attained a level of experience proportionate to the competencies detailed in the Job Description and Person Specification, which would normally entail extensive postgraduate experience.
Registration with the Health Care Professions Council and the Royal College of Speech and Language Therapists.
