Responsibilities:


  • Supervision and Care:
  • Provide a safe and nurturing environment for primary school students during wraparound care sessions.
  • Supervise children and ensure their wellbeing, safety, and adherence to established rules and guidelines.
  • Activity Planning:
  • Plan and organize ageappropriate and engaging activities for children in alignment with Premier Education's standards.
  • Foster a positive and inclusive atmosphere that encourages social interaction, creativity, and physical activity.
  • Assistance with Homework:
  • Support students with homework assignments, providing guidance and encouragement when needed.
  • Create a conducive environment for academic engagement and learning.
  • Communication:
  • Maintain open and effective communication with parents, school staff, and colleagues.
  • Provide regular updates on children's activities, achievements, and any concerns to parents and supervisors.
  • Behavioral Guidance:
  • Implement positive behavior management strategies to ensure a respectful and cooperative atmosphere.
  • Address behavioral issues promptly and professionally, seeking guidance from senior staff when necessary.
  • Safety and Wellbeing:
  • Monitor and promote health and safety standards during play and recreational activities.
  • Respond appropriately to any health or safety concerns, following Premier Education's protocols.
  • Record Keeping:
  • Maintain accurate records of attendance, incidents, and activities.
  • Provide feedback and contribute to reports on children's progress and development.

Qualifications:

  • Previous experience working with primary school children in a childcare or educational setting.
  • Understanding of child development and the ability to engage children in ageappropriate activities.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Relevant childcare or play work qualifications are advantageous.
  • First Aid and CPR certification (or willingness to obtain).

Job Type:
Part-time


Pay:
£11.00-£15.00 per hour
