Responsibilities:

Supervision and Care:
Provide a safe and nurturing environment for primary school students during wraparound care sessions.
Supervise children and ensure their wellbeing, safety, and adherence to established rules and guidelines.
Activity Planning:
Plan and organize ageappropriate and engaging activities for children in alignment with Premier Education's standards.
Foster a positive and inclusive atmosphere that encourages social interaction, creativity, and physical activity.
Assistance with Homework:
Support students with homework assignments, providing guidance and encouragement when needed.
Create a conducive environment for academic engagement and learning.
Communication:
Maintain open and effective communication with parents, school staff, and colleagues.
Provide regular updates on children's activities, achievements, and any concerns to parents and supervisors.
Behavioral Guidance:
Implement positive behavior management strategies to ensure a respectful and cooperative atmosphere.
Address behavioral issues promptly and professionally, seeking guidance from senior staff when necessary.
Safety and Wellbeing:
Monitor and promote health and safety standards during play and recreational activities.
Respond appropriately to any health or safety concerns, following Premier Education's protocols.
Record Keeping:
Maintain accurate records of attendance, incidents, and activities.
Provide feedback and contribute to reports on children's progress and development.

Qualifications:

Previous experience working with primary school children in a childcare or educational setting.
Understanding of child development and the ability to engage children in ageappropriate activities.
Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
Relevant childcare or play work qualifications are advantageous.
First Aid and CPR certification (or willingness to obtain).

Job Type:
Part-time

Pay:
£11.00-£15.00 per hour
