The Post:
The post of Chief Officer will report directly into the Director of Digital and Security and will have a key focus on strengthening the technology and operational capability and experience of the NSS Digital and Security operating model.
The post will be responsible for developing, implementing and owning the cloud-first digital strategy and supporting the Director of Digital and Security on delivering to the demands of the growing national level digital agenda whilst retaining oversight of the NSS DaS function as a whole.
Educated to degree level in a relevant discipline with a post-graduate qualification/certification in an IT related field or significant demonstrable experience in these areas.
Location:
The role has a permanent location based in Glasgow or Edinburgh but flexible working will allow the post holder to operate from a remote location on a regular basis.
The post holder must be prepared to attend the fixed location at the request of the organisation when deemed essential.
It is a condition of this employment that you must live and remain a resident within the UK for the post in which you will be employed with NSS.
Working Pattern:
Monday to Friday 37.5 hours per week
