Maintenance Coordinator
ICL Tees Dock


Location:
ICL Tees Dock, TS6 6UD


Hours:40 hrs per week (Monday - Friday)


Salary:
£30,160 per annum


Closing Date:2nd January 2023


Term:14 months maternity cover (with potential for a permanent administration role upon completion)

Level 2 Skills for Life which incorporates:

Job Purpose

The post-holder will:

  • Support the maintenance and operations teams by planning and coordinating maintenance and operational activities with regard to safety and operational requirements
  • Ensure that the Managers Scheme for Maintenance is administered to ensure compliance
  • Assist terminal management with planning Tees dock and Ayrton outages in line with commercial and Plant requirements
  • Assist company systems such as OHSAS 18001, ISO 14001 and ISO 9001 etc. are maintained and administered to ensure compliance

Principle Responsibilities

Safety

The post holder will or be responsible for:

  • Administering and assisting in reviewing Tees dock risk assessments including folder maintenance
  • Ensuring Tees dock and Ayrton works Maintenance is kept up to date
  • Running Outstanding maintenance reports and daily defect reports
  • Promoting continual improvements
  • Ensuring ongoing compliance with, and continual improvement of, OHSAS 18001 systems
  • Organising safe working platforms for all disciplines

Planning

  • Coordinating and scheduling within the maintenance department all routine maintenance activities
  • Planning and Scheduling Zonal shutdowns in coordination with the operations department
  • Ensuring all site equipment has had its relevant previous inspection
  • Analysing and monitoring that maintenance and operational objectives are being met
Making informed decisions associated with daily maintenance and operational requirements

  • Prioritising tasks and maintenance activities to ensure that maintenance requirements are met
  • Using judgement and experience to manage problems in fulfilling maintenance activities

Operational Parameters

  • Printing out all maintenance schedules on a weekly basis
  • Technically complete all maintenance schedules and job tickets and ensuring that schedules are relevant and upto date
  • Creating work notifications and orders from maintenance shift log and from maintenance schedules
  • Creating new maintenance schedules as new machinery is installed to site
  • Printing out job tickets created from work notifications
  • Filing work cards accordingly
  • Ensuring all Tees dock equipment has been entered into SAP and has relevant TAG and equipment numbers and they line up with the relevant cost centre budget
  • Creating works Orders for Tees Dock to assist in aligning to operational budget

Communication

  • Communicating with terminal management and supervisors to ensure smooth planning activities
  • Attending team meetings to share planning information and knowledge

Information Management

  • Extracting and preparing reports from SAP to provide information on various maintenance activities
  • Extracting and preparing reports from IT packages to provide information on reliability and utilization of plant and equipment
  • Preparing weekly, monthly and yearly planning KPI's to track Tees Dock objectives and budget requirements

£14.50 per hour

  • Day shift
  • Monday to Friday
