Are you looking to take the next step in your career working with families of children and young people with special educational needs?


An exciting opportunity has arisen for an experienced practitioner to join our CLASS+ team (part of the Communication, Learning and Autism Support Service), who work collaboratively with parents/carers of children and young people with social communication difficulties and/or a diagnosis of Autism.


You will be part of a small countywide team that works directly with families, providing advice and support to improve outcomes for children and young people.

The team delivers a range of workshops and facilitates opportunities for parent/carers to meet and develop networks that support them to build resilience and reduce family stress.

- are passionate about championing change for children with SEND and their families.
- are highly experienced in the areas of social communication difficulties and Autism.
- have extensive experience of working with children and young people with SEND and their families.
- are team orientated, self-motivated and creative.

The post can be based at either County Hall, Lewes, St Mary's House, Eastbourne or Cavendish House, Hastings. There is flexibility for some home working as part of a hybrid working model. You will be supported through regular supervisions, case discussions and peer support.

Your starting salary will be pro rata if the above position is part-time or term-time only.
