Job Purpose

The key purpose of this role is to safely operate shot blast equipment ensuring that all product meets customer expectations in line with CDE standards.

About The Role

Responsibilities

You will be responsible for shot blasting various parts and heavy fabrications to the required specification in line with work schedules.
Select, inspect and load component material.
Ability to perform and adhere to safe work practices in a continuous improvement environment.
Perform other duties as required.
Working with a team to achieve task times and quality levels.
Maintain target 5s standards for your work area and identify and implement improvements.
Ensure all equipment is properly setup and used in a safe manner and that all safety devices are in use.
Any other duties conductive to the job.

To adhere to CDE policy and practice.
To carry out any other duties within reason and capability associated with this role.

Required Criteria

Minimum 3 years' experience in similar role
Proven organisational skills with the ability to effectively plan, organise and control daily workload
Good interpersonal skills
Ability to work unsupervised and as part of a team
Available to work flexible hours and Clearance to work in UK

Desired Criteria

Minimum 5 years' experience in similar role
Valid FLT (Counterbalance) license
