Are you passionate about empowering young people to navigate the world independently? Kent County Council is seeking a dynamic and dedicated Independent Travel Training and Post 16 Transport Coordinator to lead our team within Fair Access.

This role offers a unique opportunity to shape the future of travel training and Post 16 Transport services in Kent, making a real difference in the lives of students.

As you will be expected to accompany students on their Journey at the beginning and end of the school/college day you will be required to travel across the County, this will include early morning and afternoon Journeys (7.30am-9am and 3pm to 5pm)

This post is considered by Kent County Council to be a customer-facing position.

The Council therefore has a statutory duty under Part 7 of the Immigration Act to ensure that post holders have a command of spoken English/Welsh sufficient for the effective performance of the job requirements.

The appropriate standards are set out in the Job Description/Person Specification.
