About the Role
The Sale Coordinator is an integral role in the expert department, supporting the Specialists in the successful delivery of auctions as well as the day to day running of the department.
About the Department
Bonhams Silver Department holds auctions throughout the year(two standalone Silver sales), offering antique through to postwar and contemporary silver, with sales held at our two London salerooms, New Bond Street and Knightsbridge, as well as Edinburgh and Los Angeles.
Auctions regularly feature British, American and Continental silver, hollow-ware, flat-ware, and a wide variety of other themes to include objects of vertu, gold boxes and early spoons.
The Home and Interiors auctions bring together a wide range of specialist areas including Furniture,Carpets, Pictures, European Sculpture and Works of Art. Regularly taking place at Knightsbridge, London, saleroom.
What you will be doing
- You will be the department's experienced user of Auctioneer 3, Bonhams' bespoke Auction
- You will be responsible for managing clients and their property throughout the sale cycle,
requesting and uploading client details and payment management.
- You will be the Department's primary contact for a range of external stakeholders ranging
- You will help coordinate the movement of property throughout the sale cycle, working with
transfer.
- You will be responsible for centrally coordinating the Homes & Interiors sales, liaising across
of Art and Rugs & Carpets.
- You will manage the catalogue production process as well as liaise with Marketing to create
- You will work with Client Services, Operations and Shipping to support clients with after sale
purchased and unsold lots.

Key Skills & Attributes
- Strong time management and organisational ability
- Excellent communication in all modes with both internal and external stakeholders
- Ability to manage workflow and priorities in a fastmoving environment
- A flexible approach and a willingness to support Departments and teams outside of your
- Previous experience in an administrative position (not necessarily from an auction
