To learn and understand key elements of Freight Forwarding.

Using the knowledge gained from your industry recognised apprenticeship and your practical working experience gained, you will use this to become an accomplished Freight Forwarder.

• Processing Import/Export Entries
• Bookings with Airlines
• Arranging Transportation
• Issuing documentation
• Import & export customs compliance
• Problem solving
• Shipment Tracking
• Issuing quotations, invoicing and suppliers purchase order checking.

Required skills

• Excellent problem solving and planning
• Outstanding communicator both written and verbal
• Proficient in IT, Office, Outlook etc.
• Strong organiser and works well under pressure

Training to be provided

• International Freight Forwarding Level this a day release and practical apprenticeship over 18 months, applicants completing the course will be offered a full time position.
