A fantastic opportunity is now available for a
Healthcare Assistant (HCA) to join a leading national charity and support the wellbeing of disabled people and their carers through an innovative, unconventional approach to respite care
Holidays and short breaks are known to have great positive effects on mental and psychical health - boosting mood, lowering stress, and providing opportunities to rest and explore new things - but they are often inaccessible or greatly limited for people with disabilities.
At their purpose-built centre, the charity is committed to offering disabled people, their carers, and their loved ones proper holidays where they can have some amazing experiences, make lasting memories, and fully relax in a place that understands - offering full-board hospitality, live entertainment, and a variety of excursions for an exciting and fulfilling break from the norm.
As a Healthcare Assistant, you will assist the team in delivering exceptional care to guests during their stay with the charity, building a strong rapport and following their dedicated care plans so that they can truly make the most of their holiday experience.
This is a
permanent position for a Healthcare Assistant, with full-time (37.5h) and part-time hours available on a mixed rota_.
