My client is a leading construction business with an impressive number of high value projects.

Reporting into the Commercial Manager, Procurement, your role responsibilities will be as follows:

Procure materials in accordance with project specifications and drawings.
Coordinate plant/machinery hire or purchase based on project requirements.
Monitor and report supplier performance issues to senior management.
Oversee logístical aspects of company delivery vehicles and ensure effective execution of collection and deliveries
Ensure effective execution of collections and deliveries.
Manage and train new buyers coming into the team
Assist the estimating department during the tendering process for new contracts.

We are ideally looking for someone with previous experience in a Procurement role within the construction industry. MCIPS is highly desired but not required.
