Job Opportunity:
Grounds Maintenance Operative on behalf of a
Bury, BL9 based company. On offer is a
permanent job paying from
£20,858 per year plus overtime.

Working hours are 6.30am to 4.30pm during the summer season working a five day week (April to October) and 6.30am to 1.30pm working a four day week in the winter season (November to March).

As a member of the Grounds Maintenance Team, you will be:

Maintaining the grounds at a variety of locations that will include large private estates, social housing estates, nursing homes, care homes, parks, open spaces, retail parks, business parks, industrial estates, schools, colleges, nurseries, and new build housing sites.
Using strimmers, hedge trimmers, brush cutters, pedestrian mowers and on occasion ride on mowers.
Planting seasonal flower beds, trees and shrubs as required.

To be considered as the Grounds Maintenance Operative you will need:

Experience of using pedestrian mowers, strimmers, hedge trimmers and brush cutters. If you've used a ride on mower great, if not training will be given.
Experience of weeding.
Experience of planting.
Your driving licence.
A DBS check.

On offer is:

A permanent / full time job.
Standard working hours of:
6.30am to 4.30pm during the summer season which is April to October.
6.30am to 1.30pm (over four days) between November and March with the option to choose your nonworking day.
You will be paid based on a 38 hour week through the year (any overtime worked paid monthly), this ensures a regular monthly income throughout the year.
Four weeks paid holiday plus all bank holidays.
The opportunity to progress to Team Leader level.
