About the role
The postholder will be responsible for supporting the delivery of Achieving for Children's SEND Futures Plans in Kingston and Richmond alongside the SEND Programme Director and the SEND Policy and Project Officer.
We're keen to appoint an enthusiastic, hard-working and creative person to help us to ensure we're delivering the best possible service to our children and young people with SEND.
The post will require you to:
- Support the development of project plans and updating progress reports.
- Contribute to the drafting of policy documents and to data analysis and evaluation.
- Clerk project workstream meetings and other meetings as required.
- Work across Achieving for Children and partner agencies, liaising with senior officers and colleagues in business and frontline services in both Kingston and Richmond.
- Maintain project documentation and complete project administration tasks.
As a SEND Policy and Project Coordinator, you will be passionate about making a positive difference to the lives of children and young people.
You will have a great attention to detail, be strong at time keeping, and be able to effectively meet deadlines.
In addition, you will demonstrate the following points:
- Knowledge and some experience of project management.
- Excellent interpersonal skills.
- Very organised and great IT skills.
- Strong writing skills and the ability to analyse and interpret data.
- Experience of clerking or providing support to a range of meetings.
- Interest in and knowledge and understanding of children's services and SEND.
