Main Purpose of Role

  • Plan, schedule and monitor all unannounced audits for 93/42/EEC and 98/79/EC Directive clients to ensure SGS UK meet internal and regulatory requirements.
  • To perform all administration tasks related to unannounced audits
  • To liaise with clients, affiliates and auditors in a courteous, professional and effective manner
  • To execute monitoring activities for medical device scheme(s)
  • To undertake additional administrative tasks as directed by the Medical Device Customer Service Manager or Senior Coordinator(s)

Key Accountabilities

  • Provide Administrative support for unannounced audits in line with 93/42/EEC and 98/79/EC Directive and UKCA contracts to ensure SGS UK meet internal and regulatory requirements.
  • Review client information, technical file matrix and latest audit report to determine the product, codes and location for unannounced audit & create, update and monitor Unannounced Audit Planning Matrices
  • Assign auditors with the required skill / codes for all unannounced audits ensuring compliance to the auditor competency framework this may include liaising with regional & affiliate offices to request their auditor resource including managing any changes.
  • Ensure auditors are provided in advance with unannounced audit documentation to facilitate the audit.
  • Ensure that internal systems including CertNet & Applaudd are maintained to allow efficient processing of audit documentation & monitor the audits through the internal approval systems and to ensure they are processed and approved efficiently and in accordance with KPI targets.
  • To undertake weekly, monthly monitoring activities and review of centrally provided monitoring reports for activities such as overdue visits, corrective actions, pack turnaround time, certificate expiry + other routine reporting.

Qualifications:


  • Computer literate
  • Previous relevant office experience
  • Proficiency in using MS Office packages including Outlook & Excel
  • Experience of creating and maintaining spreadsheets/ databases in a working capacity
  • Educated to GCSE standard including English
