This is a seasonal role. You will be expected to work all days that the park is open (except rest days). Please see our website for opening hours/day.

Must have current First Aider At Work certificate (FAW)

Main Job Objective:
_To provide first aid cover for visitors and staff on the park in accordance with laid down procedures._

Main Duties:

To greet visitors with respect and consideration, maintaining good customer service throughout their visit.
To attend any incident involving sickness or injury on the park or Pleasure Beach Gardens.
To administer First Aid to all patients/casualties as appropriate to the situation.
To advise the General Office immediately if an ambulance is required.
To refer injured people to hospital as appropriate and to seek assistance from the General Office regarding transport requirements.
To follow Company policy regarding Health and Safety, e.g. the wearing of gloves when dealing with open wounds and spillages of bodily fluids (having concern with HIV, Hepatitis and other infections or contagious conditions).
To always maintain the First Aid Post and its environment in a clean and tidy condition.
To assist in administering the company drug screening process as laid down in company procedures.
To report to the General Office all injuries treated by keeping accurate records using the First Aid documentation provided.
To maintain confidentiality at all times of all aspects of the duties.
To ensure that First Aid supplies are stocked to an adequate level.
To be responsible for any mobile radio equipment, and its correct use, that is issued by the Company.
To assist Park Wardens with customer relations when time allows.
To undertake any other duties commensurate with the post.

Skills and Abilities:

To be always of clean and tidy appearance, ensuring your uniform is worn in a neat & respectable manner.
Excellent customer service skills
Ability to problem solve.
To carry out the company's Equal Opportunities policies and procedures.
First Aid qualified to required level.
