Description

My client are an eCommerce agency based in Leeds and are looking for an experienced backend PHP developer to join their team.

This role will provide new projects that promise to facilitate your continued personal development.

The salary for this position is between £35k-£50k DOE. The position requires you to be in office at least one day a week, with the rest remote working.


Position Requirements

Essential:

  • At least 35 years' experience in backend web development
  • Experience using APIs and Web Services


  • Unit Testing

  • Essential
  • Proficient in a PHP MVC preferably Symfony (Or Laravel)

Desirable:


  • Knowledge of eCommerce platforms
  • Awareness of AWS/Cloud architecture
  • The use of TDD (Test Driven Development) practice
  • Building restful API's
  • Agile Scrum project management with Jira
  • Experience working within an Agile environment
