You are someone who is passionate about delivering robust and accurate financial accounts and financial controls and leading and inspiring a team.

What you'll be doing:
As an Interim Financial Accountant you will lead the specialist team focussed on delivery of all financial and technical accounting work including treasury, tax, payroll, AP and AR)

You'll take ownership for the production of the annual statutory accounts and always ensure that all process and controls are adhered to.

You will contribute to a positive working environment for your team, with a solid ethic of working towards achievement of the vision of the organisation.

What you'll need to offer:

As an experienced finance professional you'll have honed your experience across a range of accounting areas and ideally will have successfully lead, managed and developed a team of financial and technical finance professionals.

You will be a fully qualified accountant with any of the following qualifications or equivalent - CIMA, CIPFA, ACCA or ACA (ICAEW, ICAS, ICAI)
You'll have a track record of managing tasks across a complex organisation and ideally within the wider public sector (central government, NHS, Local government or similar)
