Dounemount Care Home are looking to source a Senior Team Lead.


Dounemount Care Home is a spacious, traditional house situated on the outskirts of Macduff, a fishing village in the town of Banff and Buchan area of Aberdeenshire.

Spread across three floors with a purpose-built extension on one level, Dounemount offers excellent standards of residential, dementia (including for residents with Alzheimers), nursing and respite care.


We pride ourselves on creating a first-class care service for our residents, which is supported by our outstanding, close-knit care team.


This role is for those who want to make a real difference and help support residents and staff to reach their potential.

You will be a key team player and will put residents at the heart of everything that you do.


Senior Team Leader Contract
14 per hour

45 hours per week - Dayshift

5.6 weeks annual leave

Senior Team Lead Will Be
A caring and motivated person.

Experienced supporting older people, ideally including those living with a dementia.

Confident and experienced to lead a care team and act as champion for the wellbeing of residents.

Able to prepare, review and understand a care plan

Qualified to SVQ Level 3 in Health & Social Care.

PDA desirable

Registered to SSSC

Demonstrate the ability to provide strong leadership

Experience in a similar role

Your key responsibilities will include

Providing excellent care and support to residents.

Ensuring high standards are always maintained.

Supervising, leading and motivating all care assistants in order for the team to function efficiently.

Assisting residents in all aspects of their care needs.

Administering medication as instructed.


Monitoring, responding, and reporting appropriately on the wellbeing of the residents and able to respond in a timely manner to any concerns.

Supporting and working with care assistants.

Maintaining good communication and developing effective working relationships with other team members.
