Suddenstrike Ltd is a progressive, forward thinking company which has been established for over 30 years.

We currently have a long term career opportunity, for a self motivated, enthusiastic person, to join our Civils Groundworks team, based from our site in Nantwich, working throughout Cheshire.

Applicants will need experience in all aspects of groundworks and light civils, including laying of concrete and bitumen surfaces, laying of underground drainage systems, installation of dropped Kerbs, ground excavation and light landscaping.

We are looking for someone who resides within the local area and someone who has the ability to manage a job from start to finish.

Key Skills

A good understanding of onsite Health & safety, ability to work independently or as part of a team and able to work flexible hours when required, a full UK driving licence, previous groundwork's experience and own personal transport too / from work is essential.

CSCS certification, NRSWA certification, trailer licence and excavator tickets would be advantageous.

The position includes a competitive salary based on experience, ability and licences / tickets held. Along with 28 days paid holiday, company mobile telephone for work use, clothing, PPE, tools and equipment.

Please note that the position is for a full time employee, subcontractors will not be considered at the moment.
