Night shift (while traing you will be on days for 12 weeks)

£12.79 to £17.03 depending on experience

This is a great opportunity for someone looking to learn new trade

Night shift 38.5hrs - 3.5 nights on 3.5 nights off

Monday to Wednesday 6.30pm to 6.30am & Thursday 6.30pm to 10.30pm. (Break 12.30am to 1am).

Overtime is calculated weekly and is paid once 38.5hrs worked first 3hrs at Tx1.4 then Tx1.5.

To weld production components for various industries

Main Duties for the Welder

Set up welding machines based on job in hand or welding spec if required._

- _Able to read and understand drawings and the specific welding requirements of the jobs _
- _Maintain quality, health and safety within the welding cell. _
- _To perform daily maintenance checks. _
- _Must be able to communicate with team leader / supervisor and production personnel to resolve welding problems._
- _Follow any other request within reason_.

General Competencies of the Welder

Previous experience as a Mig welder, but not essential.
Strong attention to detail and resultdriven approach
Good communication skills
Understanding of production procedures
Adherence to health and safety regulations
Flexible approach to tasks
Ability to work in a team as well as being selfmotivated and able to work on own initiative.
Basic/good PC skills
The ability to follow instructions
