Associate Director - Hospitality & Leisure
London
As a Barclays Associate Director - Hospitality & Leisure, you will work within the Hospitality & Leisure team in the Corporate Ban, which covers sub-sectors, including food and drink, travel, hotels and leisure operations.
In this role, you will help assist the Relationship Directors on transactions across the broad spectrum of a national industry team.
These transactions will generally generate income of over £100k, have a substantial debt requirement and could be with NTB or existing clients.

What will you be doing?:
- Assisting Relationship Directors with product knowledge, sales research, customer relationship development, and research into solutions to meet customers' needs
- Managing the coordination of evaluation and execution of large structured transactions, under the supervision of, or assisting a more senior manager
- Developing practical and appropriate credit solutions (or Lending structures) through understanding customer needs
- Monitoring and controlling nominated accounts within Account portfolios
- Providing assistance to Relationship Directors in business development activities, business planning, customer acquisition and strategy
- Carrying out Business research, marketing, advertising & sponsorship campaigns, production of MI, Pricing and covenant structures
What we're looking for:
- General banking skills including the ability to discuss strategic financial advice
- Developed Business awarenessto include impact of general economic change on a Corporate's business
- Credit Risk Expertise preferable Level 1 Risk Accredited
- Product & Pricing Knowledge
Skills that will help you in the role:
- Excellent people or social skills
- Exceptional communication skills, both oral & written
- Good grasp of IT skills including word, excel, access, power point
- Customerdriven, with Customer Service focus and attention to detail
