They have highly qualified consultants based in their London offices serving a broad range of clients, including prestigious global corporations, private companies, and third sector organisations in the UK, as well as Asia, the USA and Europe.
There area variety of services on offer to their client, which includes media & investor relations; communications surrounding IPO, mergers & acquisitions; building brand awareness, as well as other corporate actions; content creation and reputation & crisis management.
The agency draws its consultants from journalism, business, and communications agencies - ensuring they can assemble teams with complementary skill sets and appropriate experience and capabilities.
The Account Manager role
The agency is in a growth phase and is looking for a person who can manage a portfolio of clients and promote them to their target audiences.
You will play a vital role in shaping your client's reputation and profile and will manage their press coveragewithin the financial PR and capital markets space.
Duties of the Account Manager
- Managing a portfolio of your clients' accounts from a PR perspective
- Providing strategic counsel to clients to aid their PR in the financial PR capital market space
- Building relationships with key media contacts
- Dealing with the media, speaking to journalists and other members of the press
- Liaising with clients regarding press campaigns, creative projects and PR solutions
- Analysing PR coverage and providing written reports
- Providing innovative and creative ideas to clients
Key Responsibilities of the Account Manager
- Managing the needs of your client and their accounts within the capital markets space
- Point of contact with key media contacts
- Developing news angles, stories, and pitches to further the client's profile
- Contributing to daily meetings, and liaising and updating clients on PR activities
- Building client relationships and maintaining a network of media contacts including journalists
- Involvement in pitching for new business as well as developing PR proposals
- Managing and mentoring junior members of staff
Key skills of the Account Manager
- High levels of communication including verbal, written and presentation skills
- Strong capital markets knowledge and regulatory environment of listed companies
- Strong copywriting skills
- Passion for the media, including social media
- Flair for creativity, strategic thinking and innovation
- Good computer and project management skills
- Commercially aware and business savvy
- Service focused and sensitive to confidential information
Hours:
This role is full time, Monday to Friday and flexibility with working hours and days will be required from time to time to suit client needs.
Holidays: 25 days per annum (plus UK public holidays).Staff Benefits:
