Job Title:
Nursery Teacher (4 week contract)

Location:
Southwark, London

Salary:
£140-£170 p/day

Contract Type: 4-week temporary contract

Start Date: 6th March 2023


We are looking for an enthusiastic and dedicated Nursery Teacher to join our vibrant and friendly primary school based in Southwark.

This is a temporary 4-week contract role, starting 6th March 2023.


Key Responsibilities:

  • Plan and deliver highquality teaching and learning experiences for Nursery students, following the Early Years Foundation Stage (EYFS) curriculum.
  • Ensure the safety and wellbeing of all children in your care, providing a nurturing and inclusive learning environment.
  • Monitor and assess children's progress, providing regular feedback to parents/carers and adapting your teaching approach as required.
  • Work collaboratively with other members of staff, including teaching assistants, to ensure the effective running of the Nursery.
  • Attend meetings and training sessions as required, keeping uptodate with the latest developments in Early Years education.

Requirements:


  • Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent, with experience teaching in a Nursery setting.
  • Knowledge and understanding of the Early Years Foundation Stage (EYFS) curriculum and how to effectively implement it in a Nursery setting.
  • Ability to plan and deliver engaging and inclusive lessons and activities that meet the needs of all children.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build strong relationships with children, parents/carers, and colleagues.
  • A commitment to providing highquality education and care to Nursery children.
