With room for all types of training and classrooms for hire we can provide training facilities that are designed to replicate a modern construction site, we feel this creates a relaxed and comfortable environment for our clients to learn.


With over 15 fully qualified CPCS, NPORS & In House Trainers and Testers currently working at Monks Training Services Ltd, we take pride in being able to provide quality training for individuals as well as large scale companies.


We are currently looking for enthusiastic and driven Individuals to join our growing team


As a Freelance Groundworker and Highways Operative Apprenticeship Trainer it will be your responsibility to run the delivery of our Groundworker and Highways Operative Apprenticeship programme where you will ensure the course delivery is mapped to the Apprenticeship Standards.


To become a Freelance Groundworker and Highways Operative Apprenticeship Trainer with Monks Training Services Ltd, you'll need: -

  • Good organisational skills.
  • Good people and communication skills.
  • Good presentation skills.
  • Recognised qualifications and experience for Groundworker and Highways Operative Apprenticeship Training.

What will I be doing?

  • To train, coach and where appropriate assess the learners in relation to achieving their apprenticeship Standard and End Point assessment.
  • Coach, advise, and guide learners so that they develop the mindset qualities, positive habits and recognise the importance of practice to succeed in the world of work.
  • Challenge and push learners so they 'go above and beyond' in their learning and training and become ambitious to succeed in their careers.
  • Deliver training in accordance with the Apprenticeship Standards.
  • Monitor and maintain appropriate paperwork and records of progress; to report all cases of apprentice learner sickness and absence, monitor off the job training to ensure the required attendance is achieved.
  • Maintain comprehensive apprentice learner records and learning plans in line with IQA processes and procedures.
  • Establish, develop and maintain effective working relationships with employers and other organisations involved in the delivery of the apprenticeship.
  • Ensure that learners are supported in preparation for End Point Assessment (EPA) and are submitted within their planned completion dates.

Where and when would I work?


As a Freelance Groundworker and Highways Operative Apprenticeship Trainer with Monks Training Services Ltd you would be working in and around the Northwest of England on a freelance contract, some weekend availability will be required due to the learner's availability.
