We are seeking a dedicated Lunchtime Supervisor to join our team and ensure the well-being and safety of our students during lunch breaks.
As a Lunchtime Supervisor, you will play a crucial role in maintaining a positive and supportive atmosphere during lunchtime activities, fostering social interaction, and assisting students with special needs as they navigate this important part of their day.
Key Responsibilities:
- Supervise students during lunch breaks, both indoors and outdoors, ensuring their safety and wellbeing at all times.
- Encourage positive social interactions and inclusive behavior among students.
- Assist students with special needs with eating, mobility, and other tasks as required.
- Implement and enforce school rules and procedures during lunchtime activities.
- Respond promptly and effectively to any incidents or emergencies that may arise.
- Collaborate with other staff members to create a nurturing and supportive environment for all students.
Qualifications and Skills:
- Previous experience working with children or individuals with special needs is desirable.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to remain calm and composed in stressful situations.
- Strong observational skills and attention to detail.
- A genuine passion for supporting the wellbeing and development of children.
- Ability to work effectively as part of a team.
