About you
Are you a proactive problem-solver, able to dig into issues and influence cross-functionally to come to the best resolution for our business? Are you analytical and numerate with a great eye for detail?

We are looking for a passionate Production Planner to drive product availability and great customer service at lowest cost. You'll manage a medium
- to long-term capacity plan to maximise the utilisation of our factories, whilst minimising network costs. This will involve working with and influencing multiple supply chain teams and other departments to ensure that opportunities are realised and risks are mitigated. You'll need to able to juggle priorities and work at pace to keep up with our fast-moving, FMCG business.

The role includes but is not limited to:

Producing and maintaining the 52-week, rough cut capacity plan to utilise the factories' capacity in the most cost-effective way
Carrying out effective and economic shortterm capacity checking, issuing new plans to site scheduling teams that meet labour and other resource requirements
Translating forecasts into your business capacity plan, smoothing any peaks or drops in capacity to reduce labour costs whilst maintaining service
Managing the introduction of new products & changes to existing SKUs in the planning process to meet launch deadlines in a cost effective and productive manner
Upgrading systems and processes used so that planning becomes more automated and less timeconsuming
Adherance to all inventory policies, batch sizes and production cycles issued by the Master Scheduler, challenging as appropriate to actively reduce finished goods' working capital
Generating, maintaining & explaining whatif scenario plans, including optimal shift patterns for the factory and machinery requirements to reduce direct labour costs.

The salary for this role is dependent on experience.
