Great Pay:
£100 to £190 per day as a Supply Teacher (depending on experiences)

Role responsibilities:


The roles of a substitute teacher are to maintain classroom discipline and to carry on the classroom procedures as if he/she were the regular teacher.

Substitute teachers should, as far as possible, follow any lesson plans and instructions left by the classroomteacher.


Teachers may be asked to:


  • As a supply teacher, you cover for permanent teachers by carrying out their lesson plans.
  • You teach students, mark assignments, and maintain records of their progress. Sometimes, you must liaise with their parents during meetings QTS or any educational certificate's (Desirable)
