Grant Thornton is one of the largest providers of professional services to the financial services industry in the UK.
Our commitment to the industry ensures that our multi-disciplinary Financial Services Group (FSG) consists of highly specialised professionalswith extensive financial services experience.
Due to continued growth, we are seeking five to six Analysts to join our Regulatory Advisory team.A financial services background is not essential - we are looking for a graduate with professional experience and/or can demonstrate a keen interest in helpingour clients use regulatory compliance to improve outcomes for their customers and their commercial performance.

A look into the role
As a Regulatory Analyst within our Regulatory Advisory practice, you will:
- Work for clients in multiple sectors, including retail and commercial banking, consumer credit, financial advice, wealth management, insurance and asset management, addressing all manner of regulatory challenges.
- Write high quality, professionally presented reports
- Participate in the presentation of conclusions and recommendations to the client and discussing the implications and action points.
Knowing you're right for us
Joining us as a Regulatory Analyst, the minimum criteria you'll need is a university degree and professional experience and/or can demonstrate a keen interest in financial services regulatory compliance.
Prior work experience in a regulated firm, a professionalservices environment, a regulator or in accountancy or law is advantageous but not essential.
It would be great if you had some of the following skills, but don't worry if you don't tick every box, we'll help you develop along the way.
- Experience in report writing
- Experience of using MS Excel and Word
- Working as part of a team
- A professional qualification
- Ability to work to tight deadlines and exceed client expectations
- Managing internal or external stakeholders and working within set project timeframes
