Do you enjoy providing analytical solutions to complex, high-exposure problems in the consumer lending space? As a Senior Analytics Manager at a tier 1 bank, you will be developing and optimising data-driven strategies across Credit Risk, Pricing and CustomerAnalytics.


The team operates as a highly-skilled internal consultancy function using data and analytics to drive business performance; using a mix of SQL, Python and SAS to harness the power of data to enhance pricing strategies, credit risk decisions, customer experience,digital channels, and portfolio growth.


THE ROLE:


  • Operate both as an individual contributor and team lead depending on the size and scope of the project
  • Performing analysis, driving insights and developing strategies for credit risk, pricing, commercial etc.
  • Own analytics behind datadriven Credit Risk, Commercial and Customer Analytics
  • Analyse current strategies and work proactively to optimise strategies and portfolio performance
  • Work with stakeholders to improve model use and strategies
  • Optimise modelling approaches and introduce machine learning methods to enhance decisions
  • Work closely with credit risk, marketing and insights, digital, operational and technology teams
  • Take on a leadership role within the business

SKILLS AND EXPERIENCE:


  • Experience designing, developing and implementing strategies in a Credit Risk or Lending environment
  • Experience maintaining, monitoring and optimising Pricing, Credit Risk or Customer strategies within financial services
  • Involvement with the building and monitoring of Credit Risk Models and Machine Learning algorithms is a benefit
  • Strong SAS, SQL, Python or R skills
  • Highly numerate degree required
