Description

A well-established global insurance company based in the City of London seeks a graduate for an excellent Risk Analyst opportunity.

Ideally you will hold a degree in either Mathematics, Natural Sciences, Physics, Actuarial Studies, Computer Science or Engineering. You will be proficient in Microsoft Excel and other statistical or GIS software such as Matlab or ArcGIS. Computer programmingskills such as SQL, Python or R would be advantageous. You will be a confident communicator with excellent analytical skills. Practical work experience is not essential.
The role will be around catastrophe risk modelling and the impact of natural catastrophes on the portfolio.


As part of a growing team, you will be working in a fast-paced business environment providing technical analysis and risk modelling, supporting the development of catastrophe models, internal risk and underwriting systems, and providing support on projectssuch as model research and portfolio analysis.
