Pay Rate:
£10


Hours: 6am - 3pm Mon - Fri


Are you keen to develop and grow your career in the engineering world? Do you have a flair for the manufacturing/engineering industry and want to progress your experience?


Comton Group are pleased to be recruiting for a Machine Operator on behalf of our manufacturing client in the heart of West Bromwich.


This position will suit any enthusiastic individuals looking to enter the world of manufacturing/engineering or develop any current experience within the industry.


You will be training on the guillotine machine, however, some guillotine experience is essential to be considered for this role.

Key Responsibilities:


  • Developing skills within Guillotine/Cut to Length/decoiling machinery
  • Understanding engineering drawings
  • Working with variety of Metals
  • Ensuring maintenance of equipment
  • Working as part of a close team
  • Working with Overhead Cranes/Forklift Trucks

Skills/Experience desirable:


  • Experience within the engineering industry
  • Operation of machinery (guillotine, steel cutting, shearing, etc.)
  • Ability to read basic Engineering Drawings
  • Able to travel to West Bromwich
  • Ambition and desire to grow & progress within the company

Job Types:
Full-time, Permanent


Salary:
From £10.00 per hour
