This is an exciting opportunity for an enthusiastic and dedicated administrator to join the Clinical Liaison Team in the Faculty of Health, who strive to deliver high quality customer service.


The Clinical Liaison Team is responsible for providing comprehensive management and administration of the medical and dental schools' clinical placements.

The focus of the team is on clinical provider liaison and engaging with the wider health community.

We are currently seeking to appoint a highly motivated, well organised individual to take up the post of Assistant Administrator (Timetabling) to help support the delivery of our medical (BMBS) curriculum.


You will be responsible for the delivery of comprehensive and confidential administration, working with academic staff on the scheduling of workshops and plenaries and liaising with internal and external providers who deliver these sessions.

You will work closely with the team to support the timetabling process, ensure all teaching rooms are booked for undergraduate medical and dental programmes and support the production of student centred timetables.

You will assist in the development of a customer focused, integrated, cost effective and progressive administration support service for the Faculty.

You will have good communication skills and a high level of accuracy and attention to detail.

You will also have the ability to work as part of a team and good IT skills, particularly good working knowledge of Excel.

This is a part-time permanent position working 29.6 hours per week, Monday-Tuesday, Thursday-Friday. The post will be located at the John Bull Building, Plymouth Science Park, Derriford, Plymouth. The team has informal arrangements for partial remote working and we are happy to discuss this with interested applicants.
