This global freight forwarder who are have huge expansion plans are now seeking a Group Marketing Manager to push forward their global commercial effort.
Purpose
The Group Marketing Manager is responsible for all marketing activity that promotes our global brand and underlies our revenue goals.
Main Role Accountabilities
- 1.
Social Media
- Develop and manage social media presence using creative and compelling content
- Run regular social media campaigns on LinkedIn, Twitter, Facebook to promote brand and awareness
- Manage corporate social media accounts ensuring uptodate copy/images.
- Maintain ongoing knowledge of social media trends/development
- Work with our regional management teams to promote their services / activity
- Multimedia marketing tools (video, survey etc)
- 2.
Website management
- Utilise and enhance website to gain effective exposure and interest in our services
- Maximise the website in terms of interaction and business enquiry
- Provide website support; updating content; monitoring the website; ensuring all pages are relevant and uptodate.
- 3.
Branding, design and production
- Acting as brand guardian and ensuring all branded items fit the guidelines signage; vehicle livery; marketing collateral.
- Working with internal support to source and supply branded items and maintain an accurate and uptodate inventory of all marketing communications materials.
- 4.
Exhibition and Event Management
- Create a global event calendar (sponsorship, customer events, partner events,
- Organise trade shows and peripheral marketing activity
- Customer interaction days
- Partner forums
- 5.
Press releases
- Working with global team to source ideas/content for press releases; briefing ideas to company's PR agency and progressing through editing and approval to release.
- Managing EIN Presswire subscription and Mailchimp.
- 6.
Communications
- Overseeing external and internal communications
- 7.
Brand Recognition
- Organise company attendance at award ceremonies.
- 8.
Projects and Strategy
- Define a clear marketing strategy for the group
- Work with the global team to develop adhoc promotional material for exhibitions, customer & staff events, giveaways (mugs, pens, note pads, etc), oneoff brochure design, etc.
- Launch of new services
- Analyse customer insights, consumer trends, market analysis, and marketing best practices to build successful strategies
- Performance measurement and accountability of marketing activity
- 9.
Copywriting
- Drafting copy for adhoc brochures, factsheets; provide support with RFP/RFQ/RFI proposals; social media (ie Glassdoor) responses.

- Degree Calibre or equivalent
