We are an Architectural and General Metalwork business based in Waltham Abbey seeking a forklift driver (4t sideloader) / General Warehouse person to join our small but successful team.

• Able to commute to Waltham Abbey, Essex (required)
• Ability to work under own initiative and meet deadlines

• Loading & Unloading delivery vehicles at our Waltham Abbey Factory.
• Check the vehicles are loaded in an organised and efficient methodology in line with delivery schedules.
• To undertake checks at incoming delivery point to ensure that orders are correct, agrees with the delivery paperwork and is in good condition.
• Courteous, polite, and professional to all clients, colleagues and the public.
• Always drive the forklift safely and professionally in accordance with the familiarisation / training provided.
• Weekly & Daily pre start inspections for mechanical items and safety issues. Report any defects immediately to the Workshop Manager for rectification.
• Be adaptable and have the foresight to handle unexpected situations (multiple deliveries, weather conditions etc).
• Any other duty reasonably requested by management.
