Commercial Officer - Warwick (Onsite) - £39,000 to £49, % shift allowance

As the Commercial Officer, you will analyse and support commercial operations to underpin the efficient real time operation of the gas transmission network and GB gas market.

You will deliver continual improvement in our customer and market intelligence to inform the real time operation of the gas transmission network through the interrogation of systems and data to better understand and forecast behaviours and system balance expectations.

You will undertake the delivery of real times processes in line with regulatory, legislative and safety obligations to ensure compliance with our Licence, GS(M)R and contractual requirements whilst using commercial intelligence to support the response to real time constraints and gas supply emergencies.

You will support customers and stakeholders to effectively balance their positions and resolve operational queries in real time and manage the control room commercial processes to deliver within day and day ahead activities to meet our obligations that facilitate the commercial regimes that underpin the physical transportation of gas.

To be successful in this role you will have the ability to communicate on a commercial/technical level internally and with Shippers, Traders, external agencies, terminals, power stations, industrials and storage facilities.

It would be great if you had a demonstrable understanding of the UK energy market, the UNC and the regulatory and commercial frameworks we operate within, including safety and relevant operating procedures.

You will need to have proven experience in the delivery of analytical insight to inform the real time operations.
